We have been in Madrid doing research for our next Urban Safari. A very exciting city and full of life. Especially night life.

Madrid is a paradise for nightowls. The city awakens around 10-11 AM. Busy cafes are serving chocolate and churros – a kind of waffle sticks – and they shut down around again from about 14-17 PM (not a day without a siesta..).
But after 17 PM the city awakens again. A lively atmosphere emerges in the shops and streets – everywhere you turn people are eating and drinking.
From around 8 PM the shops shut down and the locals prefer to go to their favorite tapas bar. From around 10 PM it’s time for dinner – and yes, the hottest discos and nightclubs open around 6 AM in the morning…

We discovered an unusual shop that specializes in chocolate – almost making it an artform – a luxurios place for people who loves chocolate…

Madrid is also the city, where some people get their polished and where some people have to do it.
